In every Individual, there is a force more powerful, more mysterious than the inner workings of the Universe. Shaped by thought, fuelled by emotions, forged by life, touched by spirit and loved by love itself, it is the everlasting gift called Imagination...

Suvon is the name of a World that I am currently working on in hopes of sharing with other fiction writers. It's a project that has taken me quite a while. Right now, I am on a slow process at the first book, a King's Heir.

Xfresh Archive: Spend My Time (Clint Black)

Location: Unitar workstation, pc 159
Mood-of-the-day: Humming a country music tune

Sometimes I wonder why our local music tastes doesn't seem to fit country western music. I find some of them very upbeat, even enthralling sometimes. But then that's just me. I once heard this song on the Oprah show and it was very beautiful.

I couldn't download n' paste the actual music in this site, mainly I dunno how. Even if I could, I wouldn't be able to hear it since Unitar's got a firewall (yes, I never heard any of the other bloggers' music). But I hope that the lyrics itself is inspiring, even in poetry.

Spend My Time (Clint Black/Hayden Nicholas)

How can we know how far
The long way can be
Looking from where we are
It never seemed that long to me
I've many miles behind me
Maybe not so much ahead
Seems I made good time
With the directions I misread

I'm gonna spend my time
Like it's going out of style
I'm moving the bottom line
Farther than a country mile
I still have hills to climb
Before I hit that wall
No matter how much time I buy
I can never spend it all

Funny thing that time
We're always running out
I'm always losing mine
There's not enough of it about
And though it's always here
It will always come and go
The days become the years
That'll be gone before you know

So I'm gonna spend my time
Like it's going out of style
I'm moving the bottom line
Better than a country mile
I still have hills to climb
Before I hit that wall

I won't go quietly into that dark night
There'll be no more burning daylight
I'll be living in
Every moment that I'm in

I'm gonna spend my time
Like it's going out of style
I'll only use what's mine
I've been saving for a while
I still have hills to climb
Before I hit that wall
No matter how much time I buy
I can never spend it all

No matter how much time we buy
We can never spend it all

Maybe you've heard this before. Clint Black's got a deep, sexy, smooth voice. I'm still looking for his CD though. Hey, it's not my own song, but I collect beautiful music/poetry as much as I do for my 'Scene of the Month'.
